Ramjan Diaries · Vol. I
Chapter Two

Educational Life

Six institutes. A great many friends. A great deal of helping in the exam. A study which was, in the end, never quite finished.

He began his schooling at a local school called Baidara Kachi Kacha K. G. School. He was a very bright student, but at the very beginning of his schooling he did not score good marks in his exams. The reason, in his own telling, is straightforward: he didn't write anything in his own paper. All he did was help his friends — and while helping he forgot to write his own. He was not active in extracurricular activities either.

Of Higher Study

After completing his nursery schooling, Ramjan went to a boarding school to pursue his higher education. Honestly, he was not eager to go to boarding school. His parents decided it for him.

His studies went well; one thing, however, did not — himself. He made many friends in school. The loneliness was something else: it ate from the inside, even when the room was full.

He made many friends — but the loneliness was something that was eating him from the inside.
