Ramjan Biswas — popularly known for being unemployed at the age of twenty-two — is also known for his unique ability to make people laugh and his never-ending jokes. He was born on the seventh of November, two thousand and three.
He was born in the month of Ramadan, a holy month in the Islamic religion. That is exactly why he was named Ramjan. There is, perhaps, no more honest way to begin a name than by simply taking it from the calendar.
In his twenty-odd years of life he has witnessed many events that helped him understand the world and become a funny guy with zero tension. If you would like to be a part of his stories, kindly turn to Chapter Three.
Of His Birth
Ramjan was born on the seventh of November, two thousand and three, in a small village called Sujapur, in the district of Malda, West Bengal, India. He was the first child of his parents, and so the excitement of a baby being born in the house was not little; everyone was, in fact, very happy for the newborn.
People say he didn't step on the ground — everyone was always eager to take him on their lap.
Of His Childhood
In his entire childhood he never felt a lack of love from his family. People say that he didn't step on the ground; someone was always eager to take him on their lap. He was a very calm child, and he obeyed the elders.
Calm, however, is a misleading word for someone whose later chapters would contain seven cases on the official record and three documented affairs. It would be more accurate to say he was very calm then.
